Your wedding day is unique and undoubtedly one of the most important days of your life. Your wedding photographs should be unique too and be a permanent reminder of this very special event. Wedding photographs should capture the whole atmosphere of the day as they will probably be the only permanent record you have. Because of this, it is important that you engage an experienced professional photographer who has the expertise and proper equipment to handle the job correctly.

With over thirty years experience in wedding photography and a proven track record, I am well known for my technique in producing beautiful, natural pictures as well as a selection of candid shots. It is my job and I love it and there are very many happy couples who have been carefully and creatively “captured” through the lens of one of my professional cameras. Indeed, I have photographed around 2000 weddings and I have 2000 very satisfied clients!

This is what I offer:-

• An initial personal meeting to discuss your requirements and to show you many examples of my work - at a time which suits you and all without any pressure or obligation whatsoever
• No decisions have to be taken regarding packages or albums until a few weeks after the wedding when you have had the opportunity to look at your photographs and decide what you would like
• My photography includes many informal candid shots, usually supported by an assistant photographer, as well as the more traditional (but relaxed) pictures. I have an association with other photographers in case of illness
• A meeting a little nearer the wedding date when we spend an hour or more discussing in detail your requirements
• At this meeting I offer and recommend a free “pre-wedding” photographic shoot which gives me the opportunity to see how you photograph together and you the chance to see how I work with the camera. These pictures are then sent to you, with my comments, a week or so later. This is a completely informal and enjoyable arrangement which establishes a good relationship ready for the wedding day. You will hopefully, by then, feel more like a friend than a client which is important if the very best results are to be achieved.
• Only the very finest Hasselblad and latest Nikon professional cameras are used and I always carry a spare set of equipment. Everything is checked and serviced regularly.
• I am very much aware of the irritation that can be caused by prolonged photographic sessions and therefore work fast to ensure that these are kept to the minimum of time
• Large 8” x 8” previews are available a week or so after the wedding. The candid shots are presented in a binder with a number of pictures on each page.
• Through my experience and extensive knowledge of this region, I am pleased to give any help I can with regard to wedding etiquette, reception venues, florists, video, cars, caterers, dressmakers etc
• Although I have covered and am recommended by most of the venues in the area, if a wedding is being held at an unfamiliar location I always make a pre-visit. I also meet couples at the venue before the wedding day should this be considered necessary
